ABS Design Director Allen Schwartz is well known for his quick and affordable turnaround of Hollywood's most glamorous award show inspired gowns, but today he tackles a rather different challenge; Kate Middleton's royal wedding dress.
The custom replica was created as an item to be auctioned off at the Race to Erase MS charity benefit which, Allen explains, was a personal request by the organization's founder, Nancy Davis.
Although he believes that the process of creating Kate's one of-a-kind design necessitates tailoring sessions with a seasoned professional, he argues that the classic nature of this particular design lends itself to all shapes and sizes.
Schwartz estimates his mock creation could be made affordably, with a price tag in the range of $400-$800.
