Stars and fans of the 'Harry Potter' film series came out in full force at the premiere of 'Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2' in New York City Monday night.
Actress Emma Watson, who plays Hermione in the films, said that the premiere for the final film "feels kind of emotional actually it's definitely intense." Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, said about the premieres that "the energy is always kind of something to behold, so when you come out in force for something like this it's pretty special."
The seven Potter books have been adapted into 8 films, starting with 2001's 'Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone.'
'Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2' opens in theaters Friday, July 15, 2011.
