Prime Ministers and Kings won’t be the only guests at William and Kate Middleton's Royal wedding. Kate has invited a handful of guests from her hometown of Buckleberry.
Kate has invited a tavern owner, postman and local grocers. So pretty much the entire population of Buckleberry.
Hash Shingdia, manager of the Peaches Spar store in Buckleberry, says he and his wife were overjoyed to receive the invitation:
“When my wife saw the envelope with the EIIR sign on the front, she screamed. It's tremendous news, a total surprise. We were overjoyed."
Shingdia has known Kate for about four years and says she’s often in the store for Haribo candies.
John Haley, landlord of the Old Boot Inn, was also invited. William and Kate often visit the Inn for a drink.
“It was fabulous to actually receive it!” said Haley. "We're having a massive celebration here in the evening so I'll be back for that."
Something tells me Kate won’t be doing any keg stands or shotgunning anything, but I’m sure it’ll be a good reception!
