Breaking news in London! With just 114 days until the royal wedding, Prince William and Kate Middleton have locked down the royal wedding route to get to Westminster Abbey, and our own Kevin Frazier is across the pond with the details…
Kate will start her day at the royal home of Clarence House and will break the tradition of using a glass carriage to travel to the wedding site. Instead, she'll use a car to trek to Westminster Abbey and the royal wedding.
The first thing Kate will see is The Mall, where approximately two million fans are expected line up to get a glimpse of the future queen. Another spot along the way is Horse Guards Parade. Next to the changing of the guard, this huge parade ground is one of the great spots in London, and also where the queen celebrates her birthdays.
Passing Trafalgar Square, Kate will turn onto Whitehall, lined with stores and more spectators. The main thoroughfare on the way to Westminster, some of the classic London sights along the way include Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.
Finally Kate will arrive at Westminster Abbey, and the nuptials will begin at 11am. The Dean of Westminster will perform the service, and William and Kate will be married by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
After the I dos, the public will be treated to a carriage procession to Buckingham Palace. Then, the Queen will hold a reception for the newlyweds and their guests, and Prince Charles will hold a private dinner, followed by dancing.
Kevin has also had word that Prince William's bachelor party will happen in Cape Town, South Africa.
