Dunder Mifflin is getting a visit from one of the best dunderheads around.
Will Ferrell will be joining The Office for its final four episodes of the season, playing a branch manager who is just as inappropriate as Michael Scott, NBC confirmed Wednesday.
So what does this mean for the in-transition sitcom, other than that Ron Burgundy will finally be reunited with "Brick, sweet Brick"?
"We found Steve Carell when he was nothing but a movie star and we turned him into a television star," said executive producer Paul Lieberstein, who also plays put-upon HR rep Toby.
"We are proud to continue The Office's tradition of discovering famous talent, and we hope that once America gets a good look at Will, they'll see what we see: tremendous raw sexuality."
And considering Ferrell's cameos—both on TV and online—are starting to overshadow his leading-man moments, we're betting he'll really outdo himself when it comes to taking on Carell, idiocy for idiocy.
