Here’s an always-welcomed treat: VS beauties Candice Swanepoel (22) and Erin Heatherton (22), looking super pretty, thin and hot in feminine pink lingerie for the brand’s 2011 Bombshell campaign.
Bar Refaeli is the first to shed clothes and don bikini in the video. She’s sporting what the superimposed lettering tells us is the ‘Black Tie Collection’. Hmm, we fear she may have slightly misunderstood the concept of ‘black tie’.
Black tie is a dress code for formal evening events, and is worn to social functions. For a man, the major component is a jacket, known as a dinner jacket or tuxedo, which is usually black but is sometimes seen in other colours. Black tie for women can range from a short cocktail dress to a long evening gown, determined by current fashion, local custom, and the occasion's time.
Nowhere, literally NOWHERE there, can we see any mention of a skimpy bikini. Silly Bar Refaeli, you’re going to be left suitably red-faced next time you arrive at a swanky evening do.
Full name: Bar Rafaeli DOB: June 4th, 1985 Place of birth: Hod HaSharon, Israel Occupation: Model
"I don't remember my first kiss but the song that I remember was Jennifer Lopez's Waiting For Tonight because it came out right before the Millennium and was my New Year's kiss that year."
Hugely successful model with countless magazine covers and ad campaigns.
Met Leonardo DiCaprio at a party in 2005 and the pair started dating.
Got out of national service by marrying (then divorcing) a family friend.
She volunteers for Project Sunshine, helping provide free services to children with life-threatening illnesses.
There isn't a lady here who started working at an earlier age than white-hot Israeli model Bar: she was a baby model in ads from the age of eight months. More acting may one day beckon for this blue-eyed bikini queen, but singing is definitely out. "If there was one thing I wish I could be, it's a singer, but I'm the worst singer in the world," she says. "When I do karaoke, everyone runs away."
A self-styled tomboy with dreams of being a skydiver when she was growing up on her parents' horse ranch, Bar soon ditched horse-shit and dreams of parachutes for a modelling career that has included the likes of French lingerie firm Passionata, and which swiftly had Leonardo DiCaprio sniffing around at a U2 party in Vegas in 2005. They became an item and, touchingly, she whisked him off to meet the President of Israel.
She’s attracted a bit of controversy though, has Bar Refaeli. In 2009 she was painted on to the side of a Boeing 737, as an airline company took the opportunity to take an image from the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue around the world. Passengers complained though, saying that it was inappropriate. We disagree. The same year billboards in Tel-Aviv of her posing semi-nude were taken down after complaints that they could “poison” the public. Again, we disagree.
This year Bar moves back in to acting as the lead role in a film called Sessions. You probably haven’t seen it, seeing as it hasn’t been released yet. You’re more likely to have seen her guest appearance as a judge on Germany’s Next Top Model hosted by Heidi Klum. It’s amazing what you can see over here these days…
Teens across the globe would consider Selena Gomez to be the luckiest girl in the world right now: A gorgeous, successful actress and singer, who also happens to date one of the biggest A-listers on the planet, Justin Bieber. But even though millions of females of all ages would love to be in her spot, Selena still has her own celebrity crushes.
Recently under the guise of meeting fans, Gomez's entourage surprised the 18-year-old with an encounter with her own fantasy man: Transformers actor Shia LaBoeuf. Let me repeat that: Selena Gomez, who is dating superstar Justin Bieber, freaked out over meeting Shia LaBoeuf. What would Bieber think?
More details about "Ugly Betty" star America Ferrera's already buzzed-about wedding dress has been revealed. America wore Amsale's "J'Adore" gown from the Christos Bridal collection at her wedding to longtime boyfriend Ryan PiersWilliams on Monday, looking gorgeous in the ivory colored gown adorned with French corded lace and tulle. The jaw-dropping wedding dress features a strapless dropped waist with a lace bodice, as well as a dramatic tiered pleated tulle skirt that gave the wedding dress that extra "wow" factor.
But wedding dress designer Amsale Aberra is no stranger to Hollywood. Amsale's designs have previously been featured in the Katherine Heigl film '27 Dresses' and inKate Hudson's film 'My Best Friend's Girl.'
But of course, these gowns also come with a Hollywood-sized budget. Aside from being available at the Amsale flagship store in New York, Christos gowns can only be found in high-end boutiques such as Saks Fifth Avenue bridal salons, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus. Amsale wedding dresses can reportedly go from $3,000 up to $12,000.
Just weeks after reports that British sensation Pippa Middleton might have split with her banker beau Alex Loudon, the two showed up at Britain's Wimbledon tennis tournament looking friendlier than ever.
Pippa, the younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, attended a Wimbledon match Wednesday with Alex, as well as her parents Michael and Carole Middleton.
Breakup rumors were triggered earlier this month when Pippa, 27, was not been seen in public with 30-year-old Alex -- a former cricket player who now works in banking -- for several weeks.
Pippa quickly captured the attention of the world after serving as Kate's maid of honor and the media has remained focused on her stunning good looks and fashionable style.
Prior to that, Pippa had been spotted around London as well as in Spain with her former flame George Percy, the son of the Duke of Northumberland, one of Britain's richest men.
Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, have a packed schedule for their tour of Canada, followed by a short visit to California. The trip will begin on Canada Day, July 1, and end with the world-renowned festival of the Calgary Stampede on July 7.
On July 1, when the royal couple arrives in Ottawa, the Duke and Duchess will pay their respects at the tomb of the unknown warrior which is a monument for Canadian citizens who have lost their lives in service to the country. The royal couple will then attend a Canadian Citizenship Ceremony at the Museum of Canadian Civilisation.
On Saturday, July 2, the couple will follow a long-standing tradition in Canada of planting a tree on the grounds of the Governor General's residence. On July 4, the couple will meet with the Canadian Premier and learn about Canada's founding fathers.
The royal couple will also visit Quebec City, Montreal, Calgary, and the Northwest Territories over the span of their short trip which is tailored for the couple to visit places of interest to them, but is also designed to show them more of the diversity of Canada.
Overall, the tour will last seven days and Prince William and Kate view it is an incredible opportunity to get to know Canada better and start to build long-lasting relationships with the country.
There is a basketball court in Germany that is about to blow your mind.
We're not sure, outside of displaying one's artistic integrity, why someone would choose to make a 3D-styled basketball court featuring lumps and lamps and all sorts of weirdness, but we do appreciate the results. Because it gives us an excuse to wonder what it would be like to play basketball on a court like this:
A regulation-sized basketball court was erected on the grove-like forecourt of the school building of the occupational school. The court consists of a soft orange-red tartan covering and two normed baskets and seems to be forced over the grid of the lamps that have been set up. The playable court has been "morphed" as in a 3D program on a computer and looks like the grounds of a rollercoaster, with heights and depths and calm and dynamic zones. The resulting paradox, which moves between a normative set of rules and pleasurable, anarchic change, requires creative engagement for its use.
It's best if you read the preceding paragraph with the appropriate accent.
Also, we can only hope that Dirk Nowitzki notes)never sets foot on this court. We like his ankles the way they are.
Kings Of Leon frontman Caleb Followill has revealed there's a stolen sex tape out there somewhere of him that was shot eight years ago.
"There’s a couple of sex tapes on one of the tapes that got stolen, so that would have made it [the doco] a little more interesting," he said in London where the band are launching their new documentary, Talihina Sky.
This may come as a surprise to his wife, Lily Aldridge. Caleb just tied the knot with the Victoria Secret model in May.
Kate Middleton (or, to give her the correct title, The Duchess of Cambridge), the only royal that we all actually fancy, was at Wimbledon. Because that’s just the kind of thing that she does. She’s not like, “Gosh, guess I’ll have to arrange to take the day off work if I want to go watch the tennis,” no sir. This is actually part of her 'job'.
All hail Victoria and her not so secret new catalogue. We’ve brought you Candice Swanepoel and Adriana Lima looking a little bit awesome in the latest Victoria’s Secret offering, and we’re not about to stop now. Next it’s the turn of Lily Aldridge. And she, dear readers, is this one:
If you hadn’t quite picked up on it already, these shots are from the latest Victoria’s Secret catalogue, which is fast becoming our most wanted book for Christmas. Ok, no more mentions of what we want for Christmas, there’s still bonfire night and the rest of November to go yet. Speaking of, it’s Lily’s birthday in November, so we should probably be shopping for her. We’ll look in the Victoria’s Secretcatalogue.
We’ve come to the conclusion that Lily must be a pretty cool woman, seeing as she’s engaged to Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill. Some people really do have it tough don’t they? Fronting a band that has had their last three albums go to number one is bad enough, but then being engaged to a Victoria’s Secret model as well? It’s a hard life.
You do wonder how comfortable Lily is about Caleb waiving his right for some girl called Mary though. We wouldn’t do that to you Lily, honestly. It might not go platinum but our album would be called ‘Lily’, with tracks 1-13 titled ‘Lily version 1, version 2’ etc. “When the road is called up yonder, we hope Lily is there”. Lyrical genius is our game. Marry us Lily.
Black Eyed Peas member Fergie was busy touring in France over the weekend, but her work schedule hasn't stopped her from thinking about the disaster that's going on in her hubby Josh Duhamel's hometown.
The town of Minot, North Dakota, where Josh was named honorary chairman, has been ravaged by devastating floods and the singer voiced her concern in between shows on its condition and that of her husband.
"The whole city is going to be underwater," Fergie said. "Josh has a cold right. He's up all hours of the night watching what's going on."
Fergie even disclosed how his sister might lose her home due to the conditions and has been in touch with the Red Cross to gain some ground on helping those back in Minot. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Josh's family, friends and everyone affected by the horrific floods
Adriana Francesca Lima (born June 12, 1981, Salvador, Bahia) is a Brazilian model, best known as a Victoria’s Secret Angel since 2000, and as a spokesmodel for Maybelline cosmetics from 2003 to 2009. At the age of 15, Lima finished first in Ford’s “Supermodel of Brazil” competition, and took second place the following year in the Ford “Supermodel of the World” competition before signing with Elite Model Management in New York City. Since 2005, Lima has ranked in the top five of Forbes’ lists of the 20 highest-earning models in the world, and in 2006 ranked No.99 on the Forbes Celebrity 100.
"You got that pic I sent you?" That's the tweet that is going to be heard 'round the world this week.
Chris Brown shot the 140 characters or less over to his ex-girlfriend Rihanna over the weekend, but removed the post -- most likely meant for Direct Message via Twitter -- quicker than you can think of blinking your eye.
Last month, Rihanna fans lit up the Internet disapproving of the 'Loud' singer's decision to follow her abusive ex-boyfriend on Twitter. "Its f***in twitter, not the alter! calm down," Rihanna responded to the backlash. Since then, their public interactions have gone the way of crickets chirping, until this latest flub on Brown's part.
Beyonce sat down with Piers Morgan during an exclusive interview that aired Monday night, dishing on her baby aspirations, singing for the first couple during President Obama's 2009 inaugural ball and more.
"I always said I would have a baby at 30," said Beyonce, who turns 30 on September 4. "But I also said I was going to retire at 30."
Beyonce went on to confirm that she has no plans of quitting the entertainment industry and is unsure about when she would start a family with her husband Jay-Z, whom Piers called a "good man."
"He is amazing," Beyonce said simply without going deep into detail about their marriage due to a pact made between the couple. "Jay and I have kind of made a decision that we want to be known for our music and not our relationships or scandals."
One relationship that Beyonce had no qualms discussing - the first couple. The pop diva played a role in U.S. history when she sang the Etta James' classic "At Last" while President Barack Obama his wife Michelle danced at the 2009 inaugural ball.
"It was really powerful and overwhelming," Beyonce said of the event. "I kept telling myself, 'This is not about you. You have to do this for them. You have to do this for history,' and it's the only way I was able to get through that song because I wanted to ball."
Even though her singing is what made her famous, Beyonce has also become a respected actress with her roles in films like 'Dreamgirls' and 'Cadillac Records.' Beyonce acknowledged that she enjoys most of the aspects of acting with the exception of shooting love scenes.
"I don't like them," Beyonce declared. "They're uncomfortable."
Beyonce's fourth solo album 4 hits stores June 28, and you can watch "Piers Morgan Tonight" weeknights on CNN.
Even with A-list actresses like Julia Roberts in attendance, Selita Ebanks was the showstopper at the "Larry Crowne" Los Angeles premiere yesterday.
The Victoria's Secret model, 28, wore a cleavage-baring hot pink mini dress embellished with metallic sequins. She paired her look with leopard-print pumps.
We love Julia, but why does she have to dress so conservatively all the time? She's still gorgeous at 43. Show it off! (See her picture in a black suit below.)
Selita recently starred in an episode of "Hawaii Five-O" and appeared on "Celebrity Apprentice" in 2010.
Selita Ebanks and the [then, upcoming] Victoria’s Secret Runway Show, there were a few gems worth sharing:
When the Victoria’s Secret Angels strut the runway Tuesday in $3 million bras, larger-than-life wings and barely there lingerie, what viewers won’t see are the countless hours of work that goes into making the most beautiful women in the world look so ethereally sexy.
The show, airing on CBS at 10, was shot at the Lexington Armory.
“It’s all about creating the illusion of this amazing body on the runway,” says Selita Ebanks, who walked her first Armory show five years ago. “People don’t realize that there are about 20 layers of makeup on my butt alone.”
Actress Anne Hathaway recently posed for the August cover of Harper's Bazaar, and talked with the magazine about her films, boyfriends -- and sometimes being a people pleaser.
Harper's Bazaar
Speaking about her ex-boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, now serving prison time for wire fraud and money-laundering, Hathaway told the magazine, "There's something very addictive about people-pleasing.
The Erin Heatherton June 2011 ELLE UK editorial is creatively colored and beautifully shot. The strikingly beautiful Victoria’s Secret model shows off her diversity with this deeper, more thought-provoking shoot entitled When the Dawn Breaks, which claims to show off a newer, more unexpected side of the summer season.
American actress Cameron Diaz photographed by Gavin Bond for the cover shoot of the June 2011 issue of the men’s magazine Maxim US. Diaz tells the magazine she loves jumping into bed with Rodriguez, but doesn’t see the need to jump into a marriage with him.
