JENNIFER HUDSON WAS RUSHED TO NEW YORK CITY HOSPITAL

Jennifer Hudson was rushed to a New York City hospital this morning after experiencing abdominal pains, her rep confirms.
Hudson's rep issued a statement today to address the singer's sudden illness and to clear up any confusion. "After performing on 'Good Morning America' earlier today, Jennifer Hudson went to the hospital due to severe abdominal pains. She was treated for food poisoning and released."

The Oscar/Grammy winner had her unfortunate setback occur after she performed her set for "Good Morning America" and their Summer Concert Series at Central Park's Rumsey Playfield. Hudson, 29, was also set to perform on CBS's "The Early Show," but plans fell through due to her current condition.
